‘Deadpool 2’ will see the debut of famous X-Force mutant Domino…
‘Deadpool 2’ has found its Domino.
Zazie Beetz — best known for her role as Van on ‘Atlanta’ where she stars opposite Donald Glover — has been cast in the role of Domino for ‘Deadpool 2’.
Ryan Reynolds tweeted the news on Thursday.

Beetz had only been featured in several smaller roles before landing the breakout part in ‘Atlanta’ where she plays Glover’s girlfriend and the mother to his child.
Domino is a mutant with the ability “to subliminally and psionically initiate random telekinetic acts that affect probability in her favor by making improbable (but not impossible) things to occur within her line of sight”. In the comics, Domino is a former mercenary who was genetically engineered to be the perfect weapon. Her mutant ability to affect ‘luck’ landed her several jobs after escaping the program before she eventually teamed up with Cable and was one of the founding members of X-Force.
Beetz’s casting is the latest news from ‘Deadpool 2’, which is also expected to cast Cable at some point in the near future.
Production on ‘Deadpool 2’ will kick off later this year before the movie is expected to debut in 2018 although no date has been confirmed yet for the release.
